Some people find it most satisfying to give of their time. Here are some ways to do that:
Volunteer Learn more about dog behavior! Volunteer to give the rescue dogs some time each day or week and help them learn the skills they need to be adopted. You will be trained by our trainers. You will not be babysitting! The dogs will benefit, and so will you, so it is a win-win situation! What you learn will carry over to your interactions with your own dogs. Prepare to be amazed at what you thought you knew that ain't so! Get your service group to volunteer for an event hosted by Ralph's Ranch. Need service hours for school, Honor Society, scouts? Contact us for these special events. If You Can Do It, We Need It If you know how to do it, we probably need it! Host a party? Cook or bake for an event? Have a pet that does stupid pet tricks? Make pet themed party favors? Paint pictures of dogs? Photograph dogs? Have a super cool raffle item? Have a great fund raising idea? Contact us.

Lucy, a rottweiler mix, was rescued from a local hoarding situation. Weighing only 57 pounds, and about 8 years old, she was severely arthritic and malnourished. After receiving care at Ralph's Ranch she was placed in a loving home where she has thrived, weighing in now at 92 pounds. Medication manages her pain. Using a ramp she is able to go for rides in a golf cart, her favorite thing.
